What is EUROLTA?
Language learning and teaching are essential for a fully integrated Europe. EUROLTA (European Certificate in Language Teaching to Adults) is a qualification for teachers and prospective teachers of languages to adults, recognised internationally by the ICC (International Certificate Conference) / International Language Network and many other organisations. It guarantees that the holder of the qualification has acquired a high level of proficiency in the teaching of languages to adults.
You are warmly invited to two EUROLTA information events on 31.07.2010 (10:00-14:00) and on 27.08.2010 (14:00-16:30). The events will contain information about the EUROLTA course in Berlin, a question and answer session and taster seminars.
The events will contain information about the EUROLTA course in Berlin, a question and answer session and taster seminars. In order to attend the events it is recommended that you have a German level of B2.
If you would like to attend either of the events, please contact us by or by telephone +49 30 781 1076.
Training programmes offered under the EUROLTA scheme reflect a modern approach to language teaching and teacher training. Certification is based on the evaluation of a dossier containing samples of the teacher's work and the written record of an observed teaching session. The dossier is assessed externally.
At EUROLTA Certificate Level you will have acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to plan, teach and evaluate your language classes within your institutional context. Here, the focus will be on day-to-day teaching situations and your classroom experiences, and observations will be used to highlight and evaluate your skills as they develop.
What is IH Berlin PROLOG?
As every participant in a language course can testify, success in language learning depends heavily on the quality of the teachers delivering the course. IH Berlin PROLOG, as one of Berlin’s leading language schools, is extremely committed to developing the professional competence of language teachers through the various teacher training courses we offer.
For teachers of German we offer two different training courses: the International House Certificate for Teaching German as a Foreign Language (IH Certificate DaF) and a special certificate course for teachers of German as a Second Language (DaZ) which is designed to the specifications of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BaMF).
And now, with the EUROLTA Certificate we are making it possible for teachers of all foreign languages to gain an internationally recognised and accredited qualification as teachers of languages to adults.
